Center For Bioenergetic Integration

Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF) act like a pump for cells and promotes cellular exercise stimulating cells and tissue by increasing cellular voltage through the outer cell membrane. Pulsed magnetic frequencies act like a whole body battery recharger by pumping and priming your cells, and as a result increase the cells ability to accept necessary oxygen and nutrients and rid of damaging toxins.

The 70 trillion cells in your body are like little wet cell batteries that operate ideally at a voltage of around 70 millivolts. The cell membrane converts the earth's magnetic pulse into electrical potential energy, which helps cells to recharge.

This converted energy helps cells to function optimally by enhancing cell metabolism, oxygenation, ATP production, and overall absorption of nutrition and essential elements into the cell. It also helps the removal of wastes and toxins out of the cell.

Without this energy, the cell voltage weakens and disease and illness set in. When cells have a build up of toxins and cannot obtain the nutrients they need for survival, they begin to die: this is when a person begins to feel pain, fatigue, and disease can ensue.

The importance of  Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy:

Of all the great natural healing modalities available to us today; nutrition, chiropractic, laser therapy, ionic footbaths, etc, the primary stumbling block has always been maintaining our energy level.  One person may try a natural therapy and see great results the first week.  Another may take weeks or months to see results.  Often the difference between the two is the level of energy inside the cell needed to make the repair.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Cellular exercise increases your cells electric membrane potential and help it to receive charge and hold it like a small electrical battery. For our cells to function properly, we need necessary supplies or building blocks, a clean working environment and power to run all of these functions. The supplies are your cells nutrition; the quality of supplies affects the quality of your body.  For a clean working environment you need to remove the toxins from your body. The power is the energy in our cells.

A perfectly healthy body has the ability to naturally maintain a steady supply of "power" to the cell.  However, the stressors in today's world prevent or block the natural flow or "recharging power" to our cells. PEMF can 're-charge' your cell's batteries.

How many PEMF therapy treatments will I need and how often?   The answer is different for each person.  The ability of your cells to hold charge depends on two things. 1) How well hydrated the tissues are and 2) The age or damage to the cells.

Hydration refers to whether or not you have enough healthy water and electrolytes in the area surrounding the cells.  The age does not refer to you biological age, but rather the amount of wear and tear on the cells.

Your cells "batteries" may need a charge once per week or three times per week depending on your goals.  The length of therapy depends on the amount of work that needs to be done.

Figure 1: Insulin producing cell: a cell needs a voltage of -70 mV for cell to open appropriate cell membrance channels. Then the cell is able to accept the ions/molecules needed to produce insulin and then secrete it when needed by the body.
